This unit explained what qualities both good teachers and students should have. It also explained the different roles expected of a teacher and when it is best to perform these roles when teaching. The different levels of students' language knowledge were also explained as well as the different ages, backgrounds and types of student the teacher is likely to encounter when teaching abroad. I feel I have learnt a great deal about what a good teacher should be and also what to expect from good students. What students expect from the teacher was also an important aspect of this unit, especially in the different roles and methods a good teacher must employ to get the best from his/her students in an enjoyable and successful way. If there is one important lesson from this unit it is: Desire and enthusiasm. Teachers must be enthusiastic and have the desire to teach well for the benefit of the students. The same desire and enthusiasm must be displayed by the students learning the language. It is important the teacher encourages and nurtures this desire and enthusiasm for the learning of English because without any desire to learn on the students' part there would be little knowledge gained or retained perhaps making the whole teaching effort rather pointless. A good teacher will employ various methods to get the best from all levels of students with his/her own enthusiasm encouraging the students'.

Meaning that each sentence must consist of minimally one subject and one verb, however, sentences most likely will contain more that the nominal requirements. Nouns, verbs, and adjectives are typically the most familiar parts of speech for most English speaking individuals. There are more in-depth forms that help in making up a proper sentence, such as articles, adverbs, gerunds, pronouns, and prepositions/conjunctions. Ideally, I would assume that the basic parts of speech would be taught first and once more elementary knowledge is obtained than the additional forms would be added.

In this unit I have learned the relevance of the Grammar-Parts of Speech. As an educator it is hard if you don`t have the proper knowledge of what you are teaching.When a teacher lacks of the expertise in grammar it will be difficult to give a lesson to the students. I believe that I have the obligation to teach my students the correct grammar.Thus,when teaching zero knowledge students, I must be very careful of what I am teaching because they will absorb it and apply it in their daily activities and as their teacher I am the model of whatever the students will learn.

I found most parts here relatively easy, however there were certain parts that I had to check. I feel that understanding grammar is a crucial element to hold as a teacher. To be able to answer all parts grammar is a great skill. This is the fundamental basic skill, that all should hold. This unit covered the basics of "parts of speech"". This part of grammar can be very different for every language Although I use English both to comunicate and to write on a daily basis it was not very easy to remember all the differrent parts of speech. In addition I had to repeat the unit more than once Before undergoing the test. However it was interesting to learn once again the differrent parts of speech.
