This unit was about teaching writing and speaking skills. First it started by explaining different types of activities which are better suited to either developing writing skills or speaking skills. Next the unit explained how to encourage participation and guidelines for activities. Then it went went into layout and sequence of writing and speaking lessons. I knew that some other languages had different alphabets but I had no idea that there were languages that don't have spaces the same as English. That is very interesting and a good thing to be aware of when teaching. I wouldn't even had considered having to teach that.
