This particular unit discussed the different types of tests and qualifications associated with english as a second language. Again, these are pretty obvious, as far as their use and purpose. In all honesty, I didn't read it that closely. Though, as an English speaker, I didn't realize there were different tests/qualifications for the US and Britain. I know there're differences in language use (being american and having lived in the UK for the past 3 years), but overall I figured they were more or less the same. So, that's new to me.
