This unit has been probably the most helpful for me thus far. It is everything that I've been looking for and then some. I feel that the unit has given me very solid structure and confidence to create effective lesson plans for my classes. I am now aware of how vital they are for productive classes and yet how simple and easy they can be to develop. Also, the unit has sharpened my knowledge what the ESA method and which activities are more suitable for the different phases. All together this unit on Lesson planning has been an extreme help.Unit 13, Teaching Pronunciation & Phonology, was probably one of the most difficult units for me so far. It very scientific, in that there were many linguistics terms used that I had never even heard before. It was really interesting and informative, however. I especially found the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) to be helpful, because I sometimes struggle to sound out and explain the sounds of the English language. I will definitely use that resource in the future and make an effort to teach pronunciation more frequently in my lessons.
