The two videos clearly shows how the approach and attitude of the teacher can have an impact on the success of the lesson. In the first video the teacher didn't greet the students and didn't introduce or tried to learn the names of the students. He just went straight to the the study stage without Engaging the students. No proper introduction was given about the topic. students looked confused and bored. The students were not clear what a modal auxiliary verb is. Teacher was not at all friendly and the interaction between the Teacher and Student was less. The teacher was seen sitting in a corner reading a book during the lessons. The clarity was less through out the lessons and the teacher was very fast and was not loud enough. During the second lesson , the teacher approached the kids with a proper greeting and introduction. He was seen asking their names which made the students more relaxed and was actively participating through out the lesson. The teacher was showing gestures and was miming which made the students easy to understand and answer. Engage stage was well utilised. The class was very lively. The teacher plays a vital role in the learning of the students. The success of teaching and learning depends mostly on the attitude of the teacher. The more the teacher is actively involved in the class the more participation can be expected from the students wholeheartedly.
