This unit has taught me about ?Lesson Planning? Lesson planning can be hard for new teachers who are beginners who have no experience, so in this lesson it has shown me how to form a lesson plan while being some-what flexible with your plan. So if something doesnt work out you can move on smoothly. ?So first off...(for lesson planning)? I would want to write down what I want or expect my students to learn, also called learning objective. ?Next? Plan around what I am teaching and take into consideration who I am teaching and how it wibe taught. ?Also? Make a record, or even take notes while you are teaching, and write down what you taught and who it was taught to. So that way you can look back and make adjustments as needed and/or learn from your mistakes. It has also pointed out to never script your lesson, becasue you cant predict the future, anything could happen and your whole lesson could be thrown off if something go's wrong. And keeping your talk time low is a key factor as well as keeping it simple- dont want to confuse the students with long words and no activity other than sitting and listening to words they cant even understand yet. ?Last but still important? Being organized is very important as a teacher. Having all the right papers to teach the students could be a life saver, and will help the students understand english that much more
