This unit focuses on assessing students and the different types of exams and tests a student may take. I didn't know there was a difference between diagnostic tests and placement tests before this unit. Diagnostic tests focus on figuring out what students will need to learn in the course, while placement tests focus on what course the student should take in the first place. This unit also gives a brief overview on the different external exams students may take to show their proficiency in the English language.
