It's not easy to be a good teaacher.As teachers,we're playing many roles in class.We can be an instructor,could be a manager,an assessor,or even an actor or a clown when necessary. But in all the roles,I think a good MODEL is the first priority.When we teach students,especially younger learners,we have to ensure that we're presenting the right thing to them.They take us as an example,it's us who is helping them build their English Mansion.If we make a mistake,they absorb the mistake.It will be frustrating and devastating.And destroy their English Mansion from the very beginning. oo Also,as a good teacher,we need to be a keen learner too,we need to have solid knowledge of the subject.Besides,we have to be sensitive and patient to the students' problems,we need to help them in an encouraging and caring way without any offence. A good teacher should be clearly aware that when and where you need to switch your role,a good teacher knows well that when and where to use a certain game or activity for any certain age group of students.
