This unit focused on how to teach three different specific groups of students: beginners, young beginners, Business English adult students, monolingual and multi lingual classes, and individual teaching. The unit gave tips on how to effectively teach each as well as some do's and don'ts for young beginners. What I found the most useful was the Business English section. I have briefly done some adult tutoring and found it difficult to figure out what it is they wanted to learn and what to teach them afterwards. This unit gave a sample questionnaire that I could potential use in the future, should I ever teach adults again. The unit also helpfully broke down what to do before, during, and after the class for them, as well as what you should consider while you're teaching them. Mainly, that you should consider learning a bit about the company and what they will be using English for, while knowing that you're not an expert in their field, you are the expert of English in that room. Therefore, you should apply as much as you can of what you know about their field, but to ultimately focus on improving their English ability.
