The relationship between the teacher and the students is essential for a good learning process. A good teacher should be able to build a good relationship through sensitivity, motivation, language knowledge, and by caring about the students among other characteristics. In order to achieve success in a class, a teacher should consider and be aware of the student`s cultural background, age, language level and their learning motivation as these qualities greatly impact their learning process. Finally, a very important aspect to become a good teacher involves playing different roles at the classroom. Sometimes teachers need to take control of the class whereas some others will find necessary to withdraw depending on the activity to be performed or goal to complete. A good teacher should be able to recognize these roles and the correct moment to play each one to make the lessons enjoyable and varied in order for the students to feel motivated and happy with the classes. I think that the greater statement I found is that a good teacher cares about being a good teacher, if you are able to do so the results will be absolutely positive.
