Parts of Speech:each word in a sentence can be further classified,according to its purpose and the meaning it adds.This is called as parts of speech.A noun is used to state the names of people,animals,things,qualities,states,main types are-common,proper,compound,abstract,collective,countable nouns and un-countable nouns.Adjectives are used to describe nouns such as people and things,The companion adjectives are used to compare two people or things.There are two types of articles:definite and in-definite used to describe the subject to form the basis of the sentence.All verbs are either transitive or intransitive.Auxillary verbs help form a tense or expression by combining with a present or past participles.Adverbs add important information to the action or state denoted by a verb.A gerund is the -ing form of a verb used as a noun.Pronouns are words that are used instead or in place of a more precise nouns or noun phrases.There are two types of pronouns-personal and possessive. Prepositions: show the relationship between a noun or a pronoun and some other words in the sentence. Conjunctons join the words or groups in a sentence.
