This unit covered lesson planning, supplying a justification for the practice of planning lessons, and a range of models for what a good lesson plan might look like, with sufficient depth to provide structure but nevertheless allow flexibility. The lesson plan provides lots of examples of activities. One small problem with this assessment would seem to be that we are asked to categorize a number of kinds of activities, but those activities?as instantiated in the lesson plans?are not really discussed in this lesson. They are discussed somewhat in earlier lessons, but in this more complex compound rubric, it's not entirely clear what the plan is getting at.
