This unit details all of the complexities embodied in the conditional forms and reported/direct speech. The different forms of conditional sentences are given, and examples of each are presented. Great teaching ideas are also shared in the unit to provide quick references when planning to teach the conditionals. The forms of reported speech are also laid out to be internalized and understood. Common mistakes are shared, and examples of each form are given. I have learned the overt rules for the passively understood conditional and reported language structures that I have always known. This more concrete knowledge will help me to pass my knowledge onto EFL learners!
