In Unit 8 we look at the slightly more complex future tense and its aspects. Once again we must make note of common mistakes and take care towards irregularly conjugating verbs, for example those ending in a t, such as cut. When we conjugate cut for the future continuous our verb adds an additional t to the end of the base form and becomes cutting. There are five grammatical ways to talk about the future. These five are the future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous and going to future/ While it's also important to note that the present simple and present continuous can talk about things in the future but are not in the future tense.
