This unit summons the teaching methods and techniques alongside their description. Students need to be motivated, exposed to the language and have the opportunity to use it. A method that uses these factors is called ESA or Engage, Study and activate. Elicitation gives the students the opportunity to speak. An ESA lesson consists of an engange phase, study phase and activity phase. During the engange phase the teacher will try to involve the students in the lessons. During the study phase the students will focus on the language and how it's constructed. During the activity phase the students are engaged to use the language as freely and communicatively as possible.
