This Unit focuses on how to be a successful teacher, balancing all the different jobs in the classroom that a teacher may hold. Also, it describes different ways that students learn and the struggles that they may encounter. It talks about the differences between different students depending on age and willingness to learn and how to go about helping different students learn. It also helps identify between the different levels that students will reach while learning a foreign language. All of this is very helpful because it sets a basis for the rest of the units and allows the person taking the course to get a good idea of what being an ESL teacher might be like.
