After studying and completing the unit on Lesson Planning, I became very aware of the important role, planning could play in the success of your teaching. There are various aspects to consider when setting up a lesson plan. All these factors, contribute to a teacher being well prepared and ready for any scenario. I also learnt that it is of the utmost importance to be flexible and ready to adapt according to the class and learners, as you can never quite predict exactly what a class would be like. It was also really helpful to see an example of a lesson plan, and various other activity sheets. It assisted me in wrapping my head around the idea of a actual class plan.
