Another deceptively tricky unit. Even though I am a native speaker, I am not fully conversant with the grammatical structure of these tenses, and I almost never express myself in the past perfect. I imagine ESL learners would have a tough time understanding this particular formulation. The distinctions can be confusing.In this unit we were given forms of reported speech, time expressions and direct speech choices. It is vital for students to understand what to use to give the most correct information when talking and passing on information. Some of them really are confusing, hopefully I got them right. Looking forward to my results.
