This unit has gave me many ideas on training students on their speaking and writing skills. Especially writing skills. I have learnt the difference of accuracy and fluency on speaking and writing. This unit also gave clear outlines as to how to prepare a lesson if we were to teach speaking and/or writing to the students which is really helpful.The productive skills are speaking and writing, because learners doing these need to produce language. They are also known as active skills. They can be compared with the receptive skills of listening and reading.Productive skills are those skills in which we have to produce language.Both the skills are used for the same purpose to communicate.
