Unit 14 was a very informative unit about how to use coursebooks and the advantages of using coursebooks. Bringing authentic materials into the classroom can be motivating for the students, as it adds a real-life element to the learner's learning experience. In addition, it increases the learner's motivation for learning, as the learner is exposed to the Â?real Â? language. Creativity on the other hand, can inspire the learner to learn new content through a creative outlet. I am familiar with different course books and materials that I have used in my different experiences in different schools. I agree with most of the topics in this unit and I personally tend to adapt and make the material suitable to my students. Other points of view of the same lesson plan are anyway always very useful.
