This is a very useful unit in that, it gives teachers a few pointers or things to consider when in a classroom. As teachers it is very important that an atmosphere which is conducive to learning is established. Students want to feel comfortable in class and this is the teacher's responsibility. Additionally, this unit can't emphasize enough, the importance of maintaining control over the classroom environment. On one hand, a classroom can't be chaotic, this hinders learning from taking place. On the other hand, a teacher can't give the impression of being a \"tyrant\" or \"dictator\" in class because the students will be extremely fearful. Fear is a negative emotion and if students are afraid then that will be the emotion they focus on, every time they step into the classroom. This too will hinder learning.
