This unit covered a variety of topics that focused on how a teacher can manage the classroom. It focused on many physical attributes like body language and gestures, and even taught me how to use intonation and vocalization to keep the students attentive and entertained. In Unit 3, I learned the pros and cons of various forms of grouping students, whether individually, in pairs, or in groups. I learned the importance of the classroom arrangement, the various ways teachers can position tables, and how that can affect students and their learning. In conclusion, this unit was very helpful to find different ways to deal with the reality of varying personalities in the classroom and how to find creative ways to keep students on their best behaviours, all while maintaining a fun and relaxing learning environment!
