Chapter 4 gave a clear and concise grammatical overview of all four present tenses, namely, Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. Most of the time when somebody asks me why we use a certain tense in a certain situation and it comes to more complicated tenses, I always feel embarrassed when I have to admit that I do not know why, I just know that it is correct. Consequently, the most insightful parts of this unit for me were the sections that listed the several usages of the tenses. Furthermore, I also find it very practical that you included some of the most typical errors us teachers can predict students will make. It encourages me to think of corrections strategies in advance and make as illustrative examples as possible to facilitate comprehension and practice.
