Before coming to Japan, I used interactive smartboards everyday, and created 6 lessons a day, incorporating videos and visuals into every single one. When I came to Japan, I was shocked by the drastic change of lack of technology. We recorded a play called \"The Wolf and 7 Little Goats\" on the video camera, which was a great success. We occasionally use CD recordings and videos. but only in 5th and 6th grade. I can put videos and pictures on USB and connect to the teacher's laptop, which can connect with the TV in each classroom. After finishing this unit, I am motivated to use the video camera and videos and pictures to enhance my current lessons. I feel that my students will really benefit to more exposure of English being used in authentic contexts and we could use them to stimulate discussions and other connected activities.
