Unit 19 focused on teaching young and beginner students while also looking at teaching business English. The unit started with the teaching of beginners and how teaching beginners can usually be a bit over whelming to new EFL teachers however it can prove to be one of the more rewarding aspects of EFL teaching. It went on further and broke down the term 'beginner' as there are a few different categories in which the beginner can fall into. Next the unit focused on the teaching of individual students in a one on one situation, covering suitable 1-1 activities and homework. Teaching children came next as they are normally beginners unless exposed to English at home. Next was the business English teaching which can come with a mixture of clients with a wide variety of English skill. And finally the unit covered monolingual and multilingual classes.
