I was very interested in the classroom activity resource suggestions in this unit. I have taught English on a very low budget in Cambodia for several years, just with my English curriculum, workbooks, flashcards, and the white board. Most classrooms in Cambodia don't have electricity so the Hi-Tech options will not be an option for us, but I will look into battery operated options such as a bluetooth speaker and laptop. Most of my classrooms only have black boards, but this unit has given me the idea to find several colors of chalk to make emphasis on certain words or phrases possible. Even If I added yellow chalk instead of white only that would be a big improvement. Students in such rural areas of Cambodia would be very motivated if I were to show video and the suggestions about the sitting back to back exercise or writing summaries and reviews are very useful.
