The complexity of keeping the order in a classroom is quite impressive. It had never occurred to me how little things like seating arrangements can actually have a big impact on the dynamic and effectiveness of the class. It now makes sense why in school teachers were always so strict with seating charts and ensuring that all students could maintain eye contact. Things like maintaining discipline in the class can actually be a lot less complicated than it appears to be sometimes if the right approach is taken.
