I learned that flexibility in lesson plans is important. Finding that a group of children can do more or less than you expected with the content of a lesson is an important component in the structure of the class. Why have worksheets or exercises given out if the students are comfortable or confident in an area. More so than expected. Also, if they need more study before testing out their new language, then it is important to have more materials and drills available for them. I simply thought it was interesting that it's not all cut and dry or straight arrow. We need to have the ability to evaluate the students in an engaging way and build or adapt lessons continually.
