This module was all about the different types of learners that I may encounter in my future role as TEFL teacher. Teaching beginners does indeed seem daunting, some types more than others, as I would have to give serious consideration as to where to even start! Teaching children would be the area I would be most comfortable in - currently I teach teenage boys so am well aware of how boisterous they can be, but also about how to get them motivated, how to get them in competition with one another etc. Teaching Business English is perhaps the most challenging area as I do not have any experience in the business world, though I appreciate that this is not a pre-requisite.
