This unit covers conditionals and reported speech, and discusses the rules covering all the different situations. Although I speak English well, I have never heard that there are rules covering these, and I am intrigued by the consistency, eg the change of verb tenses in reported speech, and the different kinds of conditionals. I can quite understand that these fine points might be very difficult for students to learn correctly, and that it is very important to teach these areas slowly and carefully. However both these areas lend themselves to amusing discussions, and so the activities that can be used in lessons could be made a lot of fun eg the game Chain Conditionals.
