When it comes to writing, not all languages use spaces between words or use punctuation. That is why careful attention should be made when producing lesson plans. Writing is a more accurate type of communication method, so these lessons should be taken at the student's pace. With creative writing, less attention is given to accuracy, however, the flow and effectiveness is still maintained as an aim. Creative writing, I believe, is crucial to a student's development of the language because they must think about words to describe what they are interested in writing about or saying. I kind of opens their language side of the mind and stimulates their comprehension of the L2.
