This unit covered conditionals and reported speech. There are very specific differences between the conditionals which can cause problems for the students. Therefore, it is important to go through each conditional and its usage very slowly and carefully. This unit provided many excellent ideas for teaching conditionals. There are also many mistakes made with reported speech due to the changes made with verb tenses, pronouns, etc. However, again, the unit provided some very good examples of how to teach and better explain the concept. It is important for a teacher to learn these detailed parts of the english language in order to be able to properly teach it to the students.
