This unit covers the teaching of vocabulary, introduction of grammatical structures, and introduction of language functions. For each section, the unit also offered suggestions and strategies for an ESA study plan. The information I found most helpful are the different goals of the study and activate portions of the lesson. The study portion should be more individual learning, which builds self-reliance, and the activate portion should supplement those skills by applying them to a communicative task. Additionally, I think it is really important for a teacher to learn the difference between a students receptive and productive vocabulary, so that students don't get confused.
