This unit allowed me to categorize how to make myself a better instructor laying out what makes teachers good. The role of the teacher opened up ideas as to when to use certain techniques in the classroom and when not to use certain roles, also teaching myself what I am doing as a teacher. The learners section was very well put, categorizing age groups to psychological break down of one's thinking in a particular age group. Language level extremely important to classify students as they move along in the course. We take for granted sometimes why people want to speak English, in this chapter laid it out nicely.
