I have learned that there are many tests students and teachers can take to that tests are formally set to assess one's English level.I have learned that progress tests are used to evaluate things that have been forgotten and what has been learned, these are popular with Cambridge courses. Placement tests help to place students and they are usually multiple choice orientated. Regular short tests are helpful to prepare students for a big end course or year end test. Diagnostic tests are given at the start of courses to see what students already know. I believe that after studying this unit I have a better idea on evaluation and testing.
