This unit focuses on the present tense forms, of which there are four: The Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect and the Present Perfect Continuous. Although I use these forms correctly in my language and writing, it became a little more difficult when learning the definitions and teaching methods to distinguish the difference between them, why, and how to determine. Each of the four forms in the unit were broken down into categories: Form, Usage, Common Mistakes, and Ideas to use in teaching the Activate stage. I learned verbiage and bullet points to use in the classroom when teaching the present tense to students.
