This unit is one of the most practical so far. It shows the different factors which need to be taken into account to ensure the best conditions for learning to take place (grouping students, seating arrangements, teacher's position, giving instructions, establishing rapport, maintaining discipline). I think I have learned a lot, particularly when it comes to the maintaining discipline part, which has always been a challenging aspect of teaching for me, since it can be quite tricky to find the balance between too little and too much. Therefore, I found the tips for preventing and responding to problematic behaviour particularly useful.
