In this unit i learned about evaluating students. There are different ways to find a students language level. Tutorials, evaluations by students and tests are used to find out whether or not the students are making any progress. Tutorials can take place with each individual student or the whole class as a group. Students can fill out questionnaires to evaluate their course themselves or the same can be done by the teacher using weekly or monthly tests. These formal tests can also be taken after a term. It is also possible for the students to measure their proficiency in English by taking external exams such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS etc.
