In this unit, i learned that conditional sentences are the \"if\" sentences, which have 5 main forms. The zero conditional refers to facts and truths that are always true. The first conditional deals with real situations that are almost certain. The second conditional indicates some present or future hypothetical situations that are not presently true. The third conditional refers to hypothetical past situations result in past consequences, and usually expresses the regrets and excuses. The mixed conditional mixes with the second conditional and the third conditional clauses, indicates a past situation results in a present consequence.
