Teaching English classes is a process over time and various issues are bound to creep into the classroom that will have to be dealt with accordingly.The very first lesson a teacher has will require introductions and require the teacher to start to build a rapport with the students. This is achieved through fun activities or games to introduce and engage effectively in English. Warmers are used to prevent the teacher from going straight into a class with the \"boring book-work\" which would make students feel unmotivated or bored. Warmers provide short fun activities for students to participate in and allow them to begin using English immediately without any pressure. Students in the same class that are of a varied level require teachers to manage the class accordingly either through strategic pairing or altering the type of work each student does in class to suit their level. Sometimes larger classes provide different challenges to teachers including difficulties in managing everyone's work. This is attended to by splitting the class into groups and assigning group leaders or by providing activities like \"drilling\" to ensure complete participation of all the students. The use of the students' native language by the students is sometimes unavoidable as they are trying to convey meaning but lack the capacity to convey or are simply missing vocabulary. It should not be thought that they are trying to do this maliciously and should be treated accordingly. Reluctant students who are either shy or incapable of the completing current task can be attended to by applying group tasks or pair work to allow them more talk time to prepare themselves.
