Being a native english speaker I have learned a great deal about the english language, which I had either forgotten or never learned prior. However, most of all I have learned various teaching skills that I believe can be applied to all areas of expertise in the future and not just restricted to teaching english. Ultimately, I plan to my certificate to teach somewhere in japan so that I can experience in-depth culture, as opposed to quickly passing through on the tourist production line. Ideally I would like to discover somewhere suitable where I can settle in for an extended period of time before venturing further. Overall I feel that the course was very well structured and covered any areas that are necessary to enter a classroom with the confidence to begin teaching right away.
