Well being teachers, we didn?t really think we were going to get much out of the course at first thought. However we quickly discovered that that was a wrong assumption. We have learned a tremendous amount of useful information throughout this course. It was really nice to review some of the little things that can be forgotten over time. We feel it has prepared us even better for the classroom. Neither of us has been an english teacher in the past, so all of the english material covered was a much needed review for the both of us. In fact I?m learning a second language myself right now and by doing this course and learning more about my own language I feel it has really helped progress my spanish. We plan on using the information that we learned here not only to advance our own knowledge and understanding, but also in the hopes that we can be better prepared to teacher english as a foreign language. We have both taught overseas before and have seen how important learning english can be for some people. It opens many doors and opportunities that otherwise would not be there for them. So to be a part of that and possibly changing someone?s life is something that we both aspire to do. Through this course we will have been given the opportunity to do that. Thank you.
