This course has prepared us for teaching english. We are missionaries in Mexico and hope to use this course to TEFL in small villages. The material given in this course has provided a framework from which to work off of as we look towards designing our own course and using supplemented materials and course books. Frankly, we wouldn?t know where to start but the information in the lessons has showed us what is important to include in a course, different teaching styles, potential problems with learners, how to be a good teacher, and probably most importantly how to structure a lesson. Using the lesson plans provided and teaching ideas will help greatly. The review of english grammar was helpful and refreshing as we seek to explain it to others. I am sure I will keep all of my lessons in a notebook and refer back to them often for teaching ideas and tools.
