This chapter covered the necessity and different forms of tests. There are many different tests differentiated by their purposes. Tests can be given for placement within a level, practice for external testing, and tracking the progress of students. The content was a good introduction for me as a potential English teacher.I like this unit because I have learned a lot about classroom management which I think very essential for a teacher. I have learned that to be an effective teacher I have to follow some certain rules like: being punctual at all times, being prepared is very important and teacher shouldn't do all the talking in the class.
