I enjoyed the content of this unit. The explanation given about teachers and also the learners is quite interesting regarding the fact that it is hard to satisfy adults and manage groups as well as individuals with different levels and needs. The various teaching methodologies explained briefly were a good reminder though.This unit allowed me to look at the importance of receptive skills in my students. It also brought to light that there are different types of reading and listening skills, whether it be a type of passive or active skills. The worksheets also gave me a good idea of how a typical receptive-based activity could be developed.
