All these methods and techniques are known to me but from learners point of view. Now I have to use them as a teacher. Methods are very well explain and given examples for each technique provide insight into how the teaching should look like. This is very important for someone who will face with teaching for the first time.This unit has taught me about receptive skills i.e. reading and listening. I have understood how to structure lessons for reading and listening exercises. It is important to pre-teach vocabulary before an exercise, however it is equally important to not teach too much to develop the students skills in scanning and skimming.
