It was helpful to see two sets of lessons. One that was not good and one that was good. You could see how much more engaging and happy the students were. The teacher in the first video did not smile and made students intimidated. When students are not comfortable, they will be afraid to participate. He also repeated auxiliary verb when it was very clear his students did not understand. The second video shows the teacher to be more engaging and giving everyone an equal opportunity to participate by randomly calling. I believe, students of a younger age group would react differently, and more direction and examples would need to be shown.
