This Unit is dedicated to description and analysis of some of the teaching equipment often used in classrooms and study centers. The reader learns when and how this or that resource may be used, which preparations should be made before use, advantages and disadvantages of some of the items and lots of ideas concerning how they can be used effectively. Particularly impressive is the long list of online sources for EFL teachers and students. Apart from a number of new resource books and numerous online sources that will definitely help me upgrade my teaching skills, I've learnt loads of new tips and ideas for my teaching practice from this Unit, such as how to use overhead projector for correcting writing and highlighting language points, or how a video camera can be used by students for recording their own activities or projects (and even street interviews as part of a survey) to present later in the class.
