This unit is very helpful, as it gives kind of a map for teaching drifting. I am now aware of the different teaching approaches, that I want to avoid, as well as, those, which I would like to implement during my teaching life. The information given is very enlightening, as I have distinguished some of the methods that was used during my school years and how it has affected my performance. As a matter of fact, I remember questioning the teaching ways of my teacher during my teen years. I have done some studying on the matter of teaching techniques and have discovered other interesting approaches to the teaching of languages. The two I'm currently interested are the so called 'direct method' and the 'Total Physical Response' or TPR. These two methods are used only with the target language, and since I am considering to travel to countries which native languages are not known to me, these practices seem quite appropriate.
