I would not say that I have learned anything new. I would say I had the chance to contrast a really lousy lesson gone wrong to a class that was way better. I can tell there are a couples of things that made it different. First of all, the teacher's attitude; and second of, preparation of his lesson. In the second lesson he did not look as lost as he looked in the first one. He was a little more systematic and the students showed lots of interest. He used a clear Straight arrow ESA structure. He developed his class well. He used exactly all the strategies as they were explained during in the ESA structure lesson. It worked out for him. It did not work out for me because on my last text results, even though I chose my answers following the patterns, all my answers came back wrong.
